Lance Owens was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was admitted to the Tennessee Bar Association in 1989 and to the Arkansas Bar the following year. In 2013, he was admitted to the Missouri Bar. Lance primarily practices in family law and divorce law, debtor-creditor relations, bankruptcy, commercial transactions, and litigation. He also practices in the area of domestic relations, personal injury, and general civil litigation. He is a frequent lecturer on creditor’s rights and is a member of the East Arkansas Bar Advisory Committee to Arkansas’s judges. He is very active in the Arkansas Bar Association, having served as chairman of the debtor-creditor section and having held other positions in that organization. Lance is currently serving his second term as chairman of the Financial Institutions section of the bar association. He was recently in charge of the Financial Institution Seminar in 2012 and spoke on the topics of garnishments and the Tenants in Foreclosure Act.
